Cancellation policy\absence\delay
Every week, a number of people fail to show up for their previously scheduled appointments and don't notify us. Annually, this represents hundreds of missed appointments for the Maison de Santé Prévention-Approche 180. This situation limits access to services and prevents the professional team from meeting the needs of all its clients.
To ensure respect for professionals as well as customers, it is essential to notify us if you need to modify or cancel an appointment, at least 24 hours before the scheduled time of your appointment. This will allow us to offer the time slot to a customer who needs it.
If this is not respected, our team will apply the following measures:
- For appointments with the doctor : if on two consecutive occasions you cancel the appointment with less than 24 hours' notice or if you do not show up without prior notice, we will have to stop the follow-ups .
- For appointments with professionals : if you cancel the appointment with less than 24 hours' notice or if you do not show up without prior notice, you will be charged an administrative fee of $50 . A Square payment link will be emailed to you.
- For families benefiting from the family grant : if on two consecutive occasions you cancel the appointment with less than 24 hours' notice or if you do not show up without prior notice, the team reserves the right to end your subsidy .
- Late: If your delay is more than 10 minutes, this will be considered a cancellation and the measures above will apply. It will be up to the professional to assess the possibility of maintaining the appointment, otherwise we will have to cancel the appointment in order not to delay the consultations of other patients.
If our team needs to cancel an appointment, we will keep you informed as quickly as possible and you will not have to pay any fees.
